Mirel injection molding is a single grade that is suitable for a wide range of durable applications, including laboratory material handling trays, printers and computer peripherals, ink cartridges, and appliances. This high-performance, biobased, semi-crystalline polyester is tough and durable, with excellent resistance to heat, making it a suitable replacement for materials including PP, ABS, and polycarbonate. Advanced attributes of Mirel’s injection molding grade of resins are improved processability, improved flow, faster cycle times than other bioplastics, and an overall cycle time similar to traditional thermoplastics.
